In 2011 the Homochitto River Festival board was formed, and partnered with the Franklin County Chamber of Commerce to re-start a yearly festival that traces its roots back to the Homochitto Valley Festival that originated in June 1980.

Much like music, food and small business owners have an important place in our community. Combining food trucks, vendors, and music together, our festival bridges three creative styles as one.
Our festival features some of the best and most delectable eats around.
